Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the design, implementation, and enforcement of QA strategies, processes, and standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of testing methodologies to ensure LifeBank’s products meet the highest quality standards.
As a senior QA professional, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and operations, to enhance testing practices and drive product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Strategy
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices in alignment with organizational goals.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, providing leadership on testing methodologies and processes.
- Drive quality initiatives that optimize the product lifecycle and improve testing efficiency.
2. Process Improvement
- Identify, recommend, and implement QA tools, frameworks, and automation practices to enhance testing.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure QA performance and track product quality over time.
- Conduct root cause analysis for product issues and develop corrective action plans.
3. Collaboration and Communication
- Serve as the QA liaison for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on quality standards and goals.
- Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, and product readiness to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to maintain consistent QA standards.
4. Test Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
- Oversee the execution of testing phases, including unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
5. Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all QA activities adhere to organizational policies and compliance requirements.
- Maintain documentation of QA processes, test results, and quality metrics for future reference.
6. Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the CTO or other senior leadership.
Qualifications and Requirements
LifeBank is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who meets the following qualifications:
