According to the statement, TJ News Nigeria learnt that the adjustment in the examination calendar was necessitated by the declaration of public holidays by the Federal Government:

  • Friday, June 6 – to observe Eid-ul-Adha (Sallah)

  • Monday, June 9 – an extended holiday linked to the religious celebration

  • Wednesday, June 12 – to commemorate Nigeria’s Democracy Day

The ministry explained that these national holidays would significantly disrupt the original examination schedule, prompting the need for a rescheduling to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted examination process.
