FG Cancels Military Parade for 2025 Democracy Day Celebration
The Federal Government has announced the cancellation of the traditional military parade usually held to mark Nigeria’s Democracy Day, observed annually on June 12.
According to details released by the Inter-Ministerial Committee on the Democracy Day celebration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will instead deliver a nationwide broadcast at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
