Distinguished Okeke, a Nigerian politician, is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okeke was the Deputy Governor of Anambra State under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) until October 13, 2021, when he defected to the APC.
Anambra State’s deputy governor has joined the APC ahead of the 2021 governorship election on 6 November.
The APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mai Mala Buni, brought him to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, where he officially joined the party.

Dr Okeke Education
During his secondary education, he attended Dennis Memorial Grammar School in Onitsha. After completing his secondary education, he went on to pursue his tertiary education in another country.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Then he went on to Howard University, where he earned his Master’s in Business Administration and his Ph.D. in Monetary Economics, among other qualifications.

Okeke in Enugwu-Ukwu, he first served as Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, and then as Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Transport during the administration of Governor Peter Obi. He later returned to academia as a lecturer and department head at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
He was previously the Head of the Department of Economics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria.
He currently serves as the deputy governor of Anambra State, where he has held the position since March 17, 2014.
